
Gerard Stembridge was born in Limerick. He graduated from University College Dublin, where he now lives. He is well known in Ireland for his satirical radio comedy series ‘Scrap Saturday’, but he is well known internationally as an author, film director and screenplay writer.

Gerard is currently working on a new novel which should be on our bookshelves very shortly.
He participated in our 2009 festival and we are delighted to say that he will also be in attendance for 2010. His workshop proved to be an extremely successful inclusion to our programme. His ready wit went down well with the attendees. We look forward to his revisit in 2010.
