Nic Slocum

After completing his PhD Nic ran a six month research expedition to West Africa, crossing the Sahara Desert twice via the central and western routes. Nic spent the following 20 years as a research director working for ICI and various other companies, in the Internet based business intelligence field working in Canada, US and Australia. Having made a lifestyle move to Ireland with his family in 2002, Nic now runs the West Cork based, Wildlife Film School where he pursues his passion for using digital photography and video to promote the conservation message.
